As usual it is way past time to update our Post Blog. I learned at our last Post meeting that there are people looking at our Post website and we need to keep it updated and useful. Just a little reminder we meet the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Post Home at 244 Industrial Dr. We have a meal between 5:30 and 6:00 PM the post supplies the meat and members bring a dish to pass. I would like to welcome all of our new members. We hope that we can work together to assist each other in any way we can for the benefit of all Veterans. With the coming of Spring the Post will get busy please check out the Post Agenda for the year on the website. Some of the things coming up are our Adopt- A-Highway on May 10th, parking cars for the Vets Home Car Show and Open House May 18th, Memorial Day Service on May 26th, Buddy Poppy Drive June, VFW State Convention June 26 to 28, Iola Car Show work days June 30th, July 7th, July 9th. 4th of July Parade, and The Iola Car Show July 10 to 13th.

Some of the things that The Post has been up to in the last few months are The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign that collected over $27,000.00, we bought all new chairs for our Post Home and donated the old ones to The Waupaca Ministerial Association, along with K-Mart we donated a 27 inch TV to the Coffee Shop at The Vets Home, our building was again used for Post Prom, we donated $500.00 to the Waupaca County Canine Unit.

Post Bingo is held on the third Thursday each month with the money going to our Scholarship Fund.
